Friday the 13th is considered a day when bad
things might happen, but this is primarily a Western and Christian belief
because Judas the betrayer was the 13th guest at the Last Supper and
the Knights Templar were arrested on Friday the 13th. In Norse mythology, Loki the
god of mischief is often linked with the number 13 and considered bad luck.
Ancient Egyptians believed 13 was a lucky number as it was associated with their belief in the 13 stages of life, including death as a transition to eternal life. Also, India does not associate Friday the 13th with bad luck.
I think it’s just another day on the calendar.
