I’ve always admired wolves. From afar. Until I recently had the chance to visit the Sedona Wolf Sanctuary with my husband.
Being inside the wolf enclosure and having wolves roam
around and approach me was a magical experience. I got wolf kisses, and I
bonded with Larka, the alpha she-wolf. We have a lot in common. Both of us are
older females with arthritis.
I have a lot of respect for her. She’s a survivor.
I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress and health issues
lately, and visiting this mystical place was just what I needed. Along with
hanging out with wolves, the group and I performed a sage smudging around a
medicine wheel. The wolf sanctuary is situated on a spot with mystical importance
to Native Americans, and that feeling was palpable.
My soul has been healed.
Enter a world of enchantment and passion
