Christmas in Whistler!

Do you have any special Christmas plans? Any traditions that your family does every year?

Things around my home have been a little scattered the last few years around Christmas. My son assures me that the magic will come back once I'm a grandma. I don't think that will be any time soon though.

But this time next week, I should be up in Whistler Village. My other son has been out in BC for a month now and working at the Fairmont as a chef. I promised him I'd visit over Christmas if he got the job. Well, he did and off I go!

This is the view he has from the dorm room he's living in. Not to shabby to wake up to!

He will be working every day except for one so I'll be off exploring the area. If I can make my phone work with Facebook, I'll even try and do a live video from a gondola or a glacier! I have to look into all the things I can do. But I am looking forward to seeing the night lights in the Village.

All photos taken by my son.
While there I'll also be doing some research. A series that I' have out on proposal has a book set in Whistler. So it will be a perfect opportunity.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and happy, healthy New Year!
