Happy November, y'all. It's Elle Boon here and holy crapoly it's cold here in Middle-Merica. Yesterday we celebrated Halloween with snow coming down. Usually we have sooo many trick or treaters that sometimes we run out of candy. So, in preparation, we bought a shitton of candy. Now, I'm sure you know where this is going right? Since it was a cold 30' and snowing, there were not that many who braved the cold, leaving me and my family with...you guessed it, a shitton of left over candy. Of course, if you did come to my house, you got a couple handfuls, which caused many a kid to give me a second look before they complied LOL.
I think the cutest costumes were the little nuggets who dressed up as a T-Rex and one as a unicorn (clearly, they were on point). We did have one little guy in full Donald Trump and he even told me "You're fired" and "You need to build a wall" both of which had me laughing.
Now, I'm hoping y'all are aware of my latest book info, but if not I'm gonna share with you all the details, because hellooo, that is the good stuff "wink".

The latest book in my SEAL Team Phantom series. Delta Redemption is Jase and Brooke's story and from what reviewers are saying, it will tug at all the emotions; from making you cry, to laugh, fear and even get angry, but not enough you want to throw your ereader "wink".
I wasn't aware this hero was actually going to be a "hero". Honestly, I didn't know he was going to "live" as I sort of thought he was blown up in book 1...but little by little, he decided that was a decoy. I touch on some real life issues in this story that I hope readers can, if not relate to, then at least sympathize with.
SEAL TEAM PHANTOM
Jase had his life mapped out in front of him. He was the leader of SEAL Team Phantom and planned to continue moving up in the ranks, until he met his mentor’s daughter. Falling for Brooke Frazee wasn’t on his agenda, but from the moment he saw the Admiral’s daughter, all bets were off.
Brooke’s life wasn’t always easy, but she dreamed of someday finding her happily ever after. She never planned on falling for a military man like her father, until she unexpectedly meets Jase Tyler at her door. The thought of being with him both terrified and excited her.
Jase knew Brooke was the woman for him. After declaring their love for each other they were forced to part ways, for reasons Brooke will never understand. Jase is left with his heart in shreds as he’s shipped off on a mission, unsure of his return. Will war make him forget everything he’s leaving behind or will his mission leave him branded as a traitor?
Brooke was shattered when Jase left, but she was forced to move on with her life even though her dreams had changed. She’s not prepared when the man from her past walks back through the door, or for the secrets they uncover while on the run from danger.
Jase, no longer a member of Phantom Team, but not knowing who else he can trust to protect what he holds dear, calls on his former SEAL Team. As they reunite as a unit and work together, they find out that nothing is what it seems. If Jase and Brooke live through the coming days, will their love be able to endure when the dust settles?

“Mark, can I come up there?” Brooke called up to her brother from below their treehouse. It was really hers now, but for some reason, her big brother was inside.
The sound of breaking glass had her stepping back. “Jesus Christ, Brookey, can’t you just leave me the fuck alone?”
She bit her lip. Her brother was Brooke’s champion, always looking out for her, never raised his voice, let alone cursed at her. “I’m sorry…I just thought,” she whispered.
Her brother’s bruised face looked over the edge. “Come on up, peanut.”
Swiping at the tears on her cheeks, she secured her backpack on before climbing up the ladder. Once inside, she saw whatever Mark broke had been cleaned up, but the scent of alcohol hit her. “Are you okay?” The backpack gave her a reason to look away from his tall gangly form.
He let out a sigh. “Growing up is hard to do, peanut.”
“I brought you something to eat since you missed lunch and dinner.” Brooke showed him what she’d smuggled out of the house, making him laugh. She loved to hear him laugh. He was always so serious that it didn’t happen often.
“Thank you for this.” He bit into the peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They ate in silence. She handed him a soda when he finished off his second PB&J. “I’m sorry for yelling at you. You know you’ll always be my best friend right?”
Brooke smiled around the bite in her mouth. “I’m the peanut to your jelly,” she agreed.
Mark nodded, but looked away, a strange look on his face.
Brooke wished she knew that would’ve been the last time anyone saw her brother alive. The last dinner they’d ever eat together. “God Mark, why’d you leave me alone. You said you’d always protect me, but where are you now? I’m all alone now that daddy’s gone, too. It’s not fair,” she whispered brokenly, slapping her hand against the sturdy oak that held so many memories.
Jase watched as Brooke cried out, wishing he could go to her, her pain eating at him. If things were different, he’d be there holding her in his arms, promising that everything would be alright. It would be a lie, but he’d have done his best to ensure she was safe. He waited until she went up to the house, surprised when she didn’t go back inside where all the people were. It was no secret there was tension between her and Mrs. Frazee, but surely, in times like these, they’d lean on each other? Keeping to the shadows, he followed Brooke until she got into her neon green Bricklin. He still couldn’t believe her father had helped her rebuild such a fast car, let alone allowed her to drive it. The engine roared to life without a hitch, reminding him of the fact she was more than just a gorgeous girl. A tomboy. That was how she’d described herself, but to him, she’d always been all woman.
He ran a hand down his face as she maneuvered the muscle car out of a tight spot with ease then headed away from the house that was no longer her home. Jogging to his rental, he quickly jumped in and followed at a safe distance. His curiosity piqued as the couple who’d been with her at the funeral left her apartment above the salon she owned, without the child, shortly after she arrived home.
With a sigh, he sat back and waited to see what she was up to. More than likely the couple had taken the child to a family member or something, he reasoned. “Fuck, this is the shittiest part of an assignment,” he muttered.
Jase didn’t mind sitting around in the middle of a desert or even on some frozen country side watching an enemy camp for days on end. Hell, having done it more than once, it was almost second nature. However, sitting in a rented SUV outside his ex’s place hadn’t ever been on his list of things to do. The last time he’d left her place, dreams of a future with the stunning beauty were filling his head. Admiral Frazee put a huge gaping hole in those plans, and his heart, that night. Hell, they all knew he wasn’t good enough for Brooke when she’d been twenty-one to his thirty, but age didn’t seem to matter to them. Looking back, he could see why her father thought differently. He was a SEAL who put his life on the line, while she was…everything he wasn’t. Of course, Mark Frazee was a fucking traitor who had risked all their lives and sent him to prison by setting him up. Yeah, he didn’t shed any tears for the bastard when the news of the car accident spread.
He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, wondering why someone had been sent to watch over Brooke. Ever since he’d been freed from Leavenworth, although freed was not really the word most would use since he had been officially a wanted man until he’d faked his death. Jase had been working on the outside trying to find how far up the chain of command the dirt went, but it was slower than he’d hoped. The phone buzzed next to him, it’s caller ID showing him it was his contact within the military. “Tyler here,” he said in a clipped tone.
“Have you made contact with the admiral’s daughter?” The distorted voice asked.

“She shot me, man.” Erik leaned against the wall, holding his side.
Jase squatted down, moving Erik’s hand off the red stain. “Oh, shut up, pussy, it’s only a graze.”
Erik used the wall to get up, cursing the entire time. “Mothereffer, that shit hurts. I don’t get shot when I’m just chillin. I mean, have you ever?”
He raised his hand up. “Shut up. I can’t even believe we’re having this convo. Just chillin. You were in a room with a dead body for crying out loud.”
The other man nodded. “And? We weren’t in some godforsaken country getting shot at by a bunch of enemies, sweating our nuts off. Hence, chillin. Come on, why you walking away?”
“I need to check on my son and you need your head examined,” Jase called over his shoulder.
“You try getting shot when the adrenalin isn’t pumping. It hurts twice as bad,” Erik called to his back.
“Why is this guy whining like a little bitch?”
Jase stopped at the entrance to the hallway at the sound of Oz’s voice. “What the hell you doing here?”
Oz shrugged. “Something seemed off with that one. I thought I’d follow and make sure the little guy was alright and shit.”
Jase’s chin hit his chest, emotion swelled inside him. “I fucking love you too, man.”
“Hey, I followed the kid, not you.” Oz raised his arms.
“Same diff.” Jase walked over, pulling Oz into his arms. “Thank you for coming to protect my son.”
The big red haired man’s eyes searched around the room. “Yeah, well it looks like I missed out on all the fun.”
Jase nodded. “It was definitely a fuckshow.”
He and Oz walked side by side down the hall. “So, that’s clearly a lot worse than a shitshow, huh?” Oz asked outside the closed door.
“You’ve no clue man. At least Jack has no clue either. Let’s go say hi, shall we. How do I look?” Jase waved his hand at himself.
Oz looked him up and down. “Well, you ain’t got no blood and guts on you, and I don’t see no bullet holes. I call that a damn fine day.”
The other man’s words made Jase laugh as it was a familiar saying they’d say after a mission. “Hooyah,” he said.
“Oh, I forgot to ask if my truck was okay?”
Jase winced, pretending he had bad news. When Oz took a step back Jase clapped him on the shoulder. “I’m just fucking with you. Your rig is just fine.”
“You’re still a dick,” Oz mumbled.
“Love you, too.”

Turo’s Fated Mate
Story Excerpt 2
Jozlyn watched in utter fascination as Turo tossed the two men around like ragdolls. She'd tried to ignore them, but they'd been insistent on buying her a drink. After her third tequila shot, she'd said screw it and let them buy her the fourth one. However, her fogged brain had rebelled at the thought of taking the lime from the one who'd placed it in his mouth. Hell, she was ready to lick the salt without the sour fruit, had started to pick the shaker up just as she'd felt a prickle of awareness dance down her spine. Turo. God, just saying his name made her panties wet and her nipples hard. How did the man do that to her without even touching her?
“Hello, Jozlyn,” he rumbled.
Yep, just like that, her ovaries did a jig. What the hell did he do? Go to school and learn how to pitch his voice to the seduction level of panty-melting or what? Maybe she was drunk enough, traumatized enough, that it was affecting her and making her act like something she wasn’t. Sure, she’d had sex. Mediocre at best with a college boyfriend. He was older, as was almost everyone she’d gone to school with. Lyric and Syn had told her having her V-card was a good thing, but they didn’t understand what it was like being the only one in her sorority with it. When she’d finally done the deed, it wasn’t like she’d read in books. She sure as shit didn’t see stars, or feel the clenching of her vagina begging for more. Nope, Joz could only lay there hoping he’d hurry and finish.
Turo snapped his fingers in her face. “Earth to Jozlyn. Come on, I’m taking you home.”
She blinked a few times, her brain fuzzy from one too many shots. “Do you know that tequila is made from blue agave and the core of the plant contains aquamiel or honey water, which is used for syrup and tequila production?”
The big tattooed man blinked down at her, a slight grin on his too gorgeous face. “Is that right?” he asked.
“Yep. And did you know the agave plant can weigh up to two hundred pounds when harvested?” she licked her lips. Focusing on his full and very kissable mouth. She wondered what it would be like to kiss him.
“Ah, Ko’u uuku hahai, you play with fire,” he mumbled.
“The Hawaiian language is so lyrical. Why do you call me your little butterfly? I’m not really that small.” She slapped a hand over her mouth. “I should shut up now. When I drink I tend to spout things. Nonsensical things.”
“Like wondering what it would be like for me to kiss you?” His head bent and he brushed his lips over hers.
Words tumbled around in her fogged brain, first and foremost was the fact she clearly spoke her desire out loud. Second was the man was an expert kisser, and his lips were soft as velvet.
He chuckled against her lips. “Quit thinking and kiss me back, hahai.”
Turo lifted her to the top of the bar. The others around her disappeared, or at least in her mind, they did.
“Hey you two, get a room.” Reeves smirked at them from across the bar as he cleaned a glass and set it back on the shelf.
Jozlyn was stunned to find herself with a very aroused Turo between her thighs. “What the hell are we doing?”
Turo shook his head like he’d just come out of a daze himself. “You make me lose my mind.”
She smiled. “I can fix you. It’s my profession.” Where this playful side to her came from she had no idea, but the thought of bringing a smile to the too serious man in front of her was appealing.
He pulled her in closer to him. “You want to play doctor with me?”
Heat sizzled where they touched. “Why do I get the idea you’re not talking the same kind of doctor as me?”
The naughty look he gave made her squirm in his embrace and had him inhaling. “Fuck, you smell so damn delicious. I could lick you all damn day and still want more,” he growled just as the music stopped.
She looked around to see if anyone was watching them, only to gasp as several were indeed staring. “Oh my god, everyone is watching us.”
Turo looked over his shoulder and growled. “Would you like to say hello to my little friend?”
Jozlyn smacked his chest. “Why are you offering me to them?”
He laughed along with the bartender he’d called Reeves.
“Should I show her your little friend, Turo?” Reeves reached below the bar, pulling out the largest gun she’d ever seen outside of television.
“What the heck is that?” Her fingers lifted to touch, but then she snatched her arm back. “Is that even legal?”
Another chuckle came from the man between her legs. “You truly are a treasure.”
Her addled brain was having a hard time processing everything, which was a first for her. “I think I might be sick,” she announced, placing a palm to her stomach.
Instantly the smile was replaced with concern. Turo swept her off the bar and began moving through the throng of people.
“Don’t let him tap your bootyhole, girl. The wolves all like bootyhole action.”
“Reeva, pipe the fuck down or I’ll have your brother woop your ass,” Turo snarled at the woman who yelled.
“What’s she talking about?” Jozlyn rested her head on Turo’s shoulder, the lurching sensation had her gulping in great big breaths of air, hoping she didn’t throw up all over him.
“Ignore her,” he said as he entered the ladies’ room. Several women scattered as he made his way into the first stall. “Out, all of you,” he ordered.
Her world spun as she was placed on her feet, but she was happy to see the toilet was clean, although her hair swung down in front of her. A second later a hand came in front of her, gathering the heavy mass and then she didn’t care what or who was there as she retched into the porcelain.
“Oh god, I’m never drinking tequila again. Ever,” she moaned after a few minutes.
Turo flushed a couple times so she didn’t have to stare at her stomachs contents, which she was eternally grateful for.
“You probably shouldn’t have drunk so much on an empty stomach. Tequila isn’t bad when you do it slowly and with something to soak it up.” He helped her stand. “You ready to wash your face?”
She placed both palms on either side of the stall, not daring to look behind her at the big man who’d held her hair while she tossed her cookies. Nope, never had she thrown up in front of anyone except her parents. Heck, she’d never even done it while out with Lyric and the girls. Now, this gorgeous hunk of a man not only had seen her, but he’d held her hair and flushed the yuck down the toilet a few times. Yeah, not the sexiest thing she’d ever done. “I’m fine now, you can go back…wherever you were going.”
He grunted, his fingers tightened in her hair. “I was coming to find you, so I’m right where I want to be.”
Chancing a look over her shoulder, she could see he was staring intently at her. “In the ladies’ room with me while I said hello to the porcelain god?”
A humor filled grin split his lips. “Well, I will admit, I hadn’t expected that, but you are still sexy as hell.”
“You’re slightly crazy. That’s my official diagnosis as a doctor,” she said covering her mouth with her hand. “I need to rinse my mouth out. I feel like I have swamp breath.”
Turo raised a brow but stepped back, his hand still holding her hair. “Come on.”
“You gonna let me go?” Her fogged brain was beginning to clear the tiniest bit.
“Do I gotta?”
His little boy lost look probably got him all kinds of things, like between any woman’s thighs he wanted. The thought had her straightening to her full height, which only brought her to his chin. “Yes,” she agreed.
He nodded, letting go but sifting his fingers through her hair slowly, the tips caught on a few snarls. “I love your hair. It’s like black silk.”
Not sure how to answer that, she went to the sink and splashed cold water on her overheated face then brought her cupped hands filled with water to her mouth, swishing the cool liquid around over and over and spit it out, repeating a couple times before she felt like her mouth was cleanish. Gah, she hated throwing up.
“Here.” Turo offered her a piece of gum.
Her hands shook a little as she took the wrapped rectangular piece of minty goodness. “You’re a lifesaver.”
“That’s what all the ladies say. Come on, let’s get out of here.” He held the door open.
“I need to check on Egypt.” She didn’t know where she was going to go. If the man chasing them was the little girl’s dad, he probably knew where she lived. She’d have to check into a hotel, but if he was smart enough to get into a secured psychiatric wing of a hospital, he could probably figure out how to track her.
“Egypt is staying with her mother at the clinic. They’ll be guarded by…the club members. You can rest assured nothing will be able to get to them. As for where you’re going,” he paused to pin her with his steady gaze. “You’re coming home with me, and before you object, think. You’ll be safe, since he won’t think to track you there, and even if he did, I’m more than prepared to deal with anyone who dares touch what’s mine.”
“But, I’m nobody to you,” she denied.
“You keep thinking that, hahai.” He guided her through the throng of people.
