Let the battle of the sexes commence...between a jinn and his new FEMALE owner - WELL ENDOWED - Erotic PNR RomCom #TinaDonahueBooks #EroticPNR #RomCom #Jinn #Wishes #Romance

Ever wonder what it would be like to have your own jinn? Great, huh? The wishes. The riches. The problems.

Yep. That's what Cari faces when she inherits Jez. As an alpha jinn, he refuses to serve anyone but a man. As far as he's concerned, she's shit out of luck.

Hmm. She believes otherwise and shows him just who has the upper hand.

Let the battle of the sexes begin...

Where there’s a will, there’s wicked fun…

Drowning in bad luck, Cari doesn’t know where to turn when the unexpected happens. A loyal customer at her Key West café has left her an inheritance. She hopes for cash to save her restaurant but receives an old brass bottle that looks like a sex toy…and has Jez inside.

At six-four, he’s built like a gladiator, has looks to die for, and oozes sexuality. He’s also a jinn.

Color her enthralled and excited. Besides being one hot dude, he grants wishes, right?

Not for her. Ironclad tradition demands he serve men, not women. Of course, if she wants to get down and dirty with him, he’ll gladly oblige.

Let the battle of the sexes begin. Before long, their differences fall away as they indulge in every lusty desire, while falling hard and fast. Ah, paradise. Until trouble arrives, threatening to pull them apart forever…

She couldn’t wait a second longer and twisted the knob to open the container.

The top didn’t budge.

She tried repeatedly until she was breathless and sweating.

The fucking thing wouldn’t turn. The nicks and dents she’d noticed earlier proved to be pry marks around the top that resembled the crown on a man’s cock.

“Crap.” She wasn’t equipped to break this thing or saw it open.

After searching her kitchen for something to use, she settled on rubber gloves to add traction to her grip. With her thighs holding the bottle, she wrenched the top as hard as her strength allowed.

The knob not only loosened, but flew off—similar to a cork on a champagne bottle—and hit her wall, denting the plaster.

There goes my security deposit.

Hold on.

By itself, the bottle trembled between her thighs, the metal growing warmer. Not an unpleasant feeling, but fucking weird.

Appalled, she flung the container on her table.

It thudded dully against her purse and shook violently.

“Shit, shit, shit!” The damn thing was going to blow. Her spicy, rich cooking must have pushed Ethyl into an earlier grave than she wanted, and this was payback. Terrified, Cari dropped to her knees, desperate to crawl to the door and outside. Frozen in horror, she hunkered behind a chair for protection.

Thunder roared.

Gold-and-black smoke poured from the bottle.

I’m going to die.

Hard rain struck the windows, but they didn’t blow out from an explosion.

Rather than the smoke rising to the ceiling, it curled in a slow spiral then drifted away from the table to her side.

Shuddering, she crab-walked away from it.

The smoke followed and took form.

Feet appeared first, at least a size fifteen, the toes well-formed and long. Muscular calves and thighs materialized next, dark hairs hugging them, the complexion olive.

She stopped edging back and leaned forward instead.

Upper thighs and narrow hips emerged, a startling-white fabric tied around the groin area, the ends hiding the good stuff. Not a loincloth exactly, more like a scarf exposing a rock-hard ass.

The abs and chest were no different, each sculpted, the small nipples a dark brown shade, similar in color to refried beans. The pecs quivered on each new breath. However, there was no navel.

This can’t be happening.

She raised her face.

The smoke broke apart, floated to the ceiling, and disappeared.

Leaving a thirtysomething man standing before her.

He opened his lushly lashed eyes.

Her breath caught. His irises were closer to gold than hazel, his shoulder-length brown hair thick and wavy, stubble outrageously sexy, mouth sensuous, one dark eyebrow arched at her.

He planted his hands on his lean hips.

Holy fuck. A gladiator couldn’t have owned more muscles, though they weren’t overdone like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s, but totally male.

Her pussy creamed.

An odd reaction since this couldn’t be real.

When the knob flew off the bottle, it must have ricocheted off the wall and hit her head, causing her to hallucinate this, or rather, him.

Only one way to find out. She grabbed his calf. Its brawn and heat made her ears buzz.

Grinning lewdly, he flexed his muscles and pressed into her touch.

This was no dream. She snatched back her hand. “Who-who-who-who—” She shivered so badly, she couldn’t speak, but had to. “Who are you? What are you?”

His eyebrows shot up to his hairline. He lifted his chin. “You, a mere woman, dare to question or demand anything from me?”

“Huh?” Not liking his sexist attitude, she scrambled to her feet. At five-seven, she couldn’t match his height. By her guestimate, he topped out at six-four and was the most perfect man she’d ever seen, except for his patronizing gaze. Precisely what she didn’t need. “Again, who or what are you? This is my place. My kitchen. Not yours. Answer me.”

“I answer only to my master. Go on.” He gestured her away as Antonini had. “Fetch the man in charge.”

As if. Before she could slug him, he pivoted and regarded her kitchen warily, as a one-percenter would, seeing only how small and simple it was.

She couldn’t have cared less if he found her digs lacking.

He next focused on her buñuelos.

If he gave them a pissy look or said one unkind thing about her cooking, he wasn’t long for this world, even if she didn’t know how to off him.

Bent at the waist, he sniffed the treats and licked his lips.

Growling sounded.

His stomach?

Holding one buñuelo between his thumb and forefinger, he examined the fried dough carefully, licked the contours, then popped the treat into his mouth. As he chewed, his lids slid down and he moaned the way guys do during orgasms.

SNSD with Vicki Batman - Do You Have a Memorable Vacation?

As a youngster, my dad had three weeks off in the summer. In fact, the whole company took the same three weeks off. He loved to go on vacations. We went to Colorado, San Antonio, Galveston, California (that was an extra-long one.) I’ve seen iconic places, beauties of nature and continued to be wowed.

When Handsome and I had #1 and #2 sons, we took them on vacations too. Often to Kansas where we visited family. Eventually, the business grew, and we went elsewhere, like Colorado, Galveston, New York, Washington D.C., Alaska, and Hawaii.
Garden of the Gods

I traveled with Handsome to the company conferences, held in many wonderful places. I’ve been to Churchill Downs, Andrew Jackson and George Washington’s homes. The Grand Canyon. Hoover Dam. Sanibel Island, many museums, gardens, Las Vegas, San Diego, Mexico.

One year for Christmas, Handsome surprised me with a trip to Paris. We arrived on Valentine’s Day. We explored the Louvre, Musee de Orsay, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, the Eiffel Tower, Versailles. I’d died and gone to heaven.

I had caught the cruise bug. The ship takes us to nice places and tells us interesting things, we unpack once, eat great food, and have a ball. We went to the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, Mediterranean, Rhine River, Baltic Sea. Soon we will have another adventure in the Adriatic Sea. I’m anxious to go to Corfu (thanks to Mary Stewart’s books) and Croatia.
However, sometimes, the best vacation is hanging at home, doing what I want. Escaping into a good book, stitching, lazy meals, sleeping late.

Speaking of good books...

My new one, Sommerville days, released July 10, and already has five five starred reviews. Here’s a sample:
Store Wars: The competition is heating up when Janie's old flame returns to town and is running his family's store. Could following dreams break her heart?

Raving Beauty: What if the love of your life was in front of you all along?

San Diego or Bust: When a young woman plans a romantic getaway with her boyfriend, disaster strikes—is her Mr. Right the right Mr. Right?

Excerpt from San Diego or Bust: My boyfriend is a dirt wad. I just decided.

With a “humpf,” I dragged my pink tote up the narrow aisle to the plane's exit, accidentally banging it into the sides of the seats along the way. The relieving notion of being back home in Sommerville caused the tension in my chest to fade a smidgen. A quick peek to the exit told me where Davis, my boyfriend, stood waiting for the okay from the ground crew to head out. His glance my way didn't look at all pleasant. Similar to one wrapped in disappointment with a downward tilt of his mouth.

I don't care much. I just decided.

The words creep, jerk, moron, and “why the hell am I still dating him?” jumbled my thoughts around. My heart pounded as anxiety ratcheted my insides again. Maybe I shouldn’t. Maybe I should not put up with him anymore.

I come bearing gifts for Christmas in July!

Whoohoo! I’m officially a Diva! Thank you, Tina, for inviting me to be a member of the Sweet and Sexy Divas 😊 I write romance inspired by the classics, and a great example of what that means is my Scottish Christmas Carol series. This is inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol which I’m sure you know.

However, in my series the Spirits of Past, Present, and Future have their own spirited romances while helping a young widow, Holly, move on after her husband’s passing. Things are complicated by the fact that instead of Marley, it’s the last husband Cam, who is the boss of the spirits he sends. Oh yes, and it’s set in Scotland, in a small town called Deervale, near Loudon Hill, basically in present day instead of in the city of London in the 1800s. This couldn’t be better timing because I always celebrate Christmas in July, so this month PLEASURES OF CHRISTMAS PAST, the first in this series is available for only 99¢, but that sale ends on July 31st. Just sayin’.

I’ve included the blurb below. I hope you enjoy.
Always, Lexi

Blurb for PLEASURES OF CHRISTMAS PAST (A Scottish Christmas Carol: Book 1)

When present-day American social worker Jessica Thomas is assigned her first case as a spirit guide, she’s excited to serve as the Spirit of Christmas Past for her client and prove she knows her profession well. Unfortunately, her mentor, the very hot, very single, and very Scottish Duncan Montgomerie has little faith in her ability and plans to catch her when she falls. As far as she’s concerned, he’s going to be waiting a
very long time.

Bachelor Duncan Montgomerie hails from late 18th century Scotland where he enjoyed life to its fullest, something he continues in death. Having been dead a while, he is well equipped to handle the afterlife where time doesn’t exist and phasing is the norm. What has him stymied is his connection to the uptight Jessica, and the strange feelings he’s experiencing being around her, even though she refuses to listen to his advice. Duncan needs to figure out what it all means and fast because the rules change after death and the path Jessica is headed down could cost her her soul.

Excerpt from Pleasures of Christmas Past:
From what Jessica could tell, there was no such thing as calories in the afterlife. Thankful she’d finally mastered the art of solidifying and phasing at will so she could enjoy her earthly pleasure, she took a bite of the sweet, cold ice cream. As the nutty flavor washed over her tongue, she closed her eyes in sheer bliss. Now this was heaven. Opening her eyes to take another bite, she froze. “What are you doing here?”
Duncan floated on the arm at the other end of her couch, looking absolutely delicious in his jeans, t-shirt and socks. Socks?
“This is when your private lessons start.” The sexy grin he gave her had her swallowing hard as excitement skittered across her skin and into her groin.
Shit. The man was a walking tease. Make that a floating tease. She wanted Mr. Knows-It-All back. He was easier to deal with. Not sure what to say, she dipped her spoon in the carton and took another bite as her mind raced. What kind of lessons? From his look, her bedroom would be the proper place for them.
“What are you eating?” He leaned forward and squinted at the carton.
She swallowed and tried for a professional air. “Pistachio ice cream.”
“I dinna think I’ve ever tried that flavor.” His body phased to solid, and he plucked the carton from her hand.
“Hey! The least you can do is ask.”
He shrugged as he dipped his finger into the green ice cream. “You’d just tell me I could have some, so why bother?” He lifted his finger and stuck the ice cream in his mouth. “Hmmm, this is good. No wonder it’s your favorite.” His grin could have talked a Sunday school teacher into stripping.
She stared, her body revving at the sight of him dipping his finger in again while her brain caught up to his words.  “How do you know it’s my favorite?”
He winked. “I know everything about you.”
She flushed as her body heated. Crap, this man was a flirt if she’d ever seen one and his lilting accent didn’t help. She reached across the couch and grabbed the ice cream out of his hand. “If you don’t mind, I was enjoying that.”
     He chuckled. “Oh, touchy.”
Why did she now feel like a bitch? She wasn’t like this usually. Mr. Distraction had her off balance and she didn’t like it.
If only Cameron could have given her a different mentor. Duncan Montgomerie would ruin her concentration and make fun of any mistake she might make. Her definition of “mentor” was not that. “I’m assuming you came here for a reason? I mean, besides the beautiful view.” She pointed toward the windows with her spoon.
He glanced that way before letting his gaze roam from the tops of her bare feet, over her legs, past her shorts to the stretchy fabric of her white tank-covered chest. She held her breath, waiting for his eyes to meet hers, but they stayed riveted on her breasts. Thankful she’d left her bra on so he couldn’t see how hard her nipples had turned at his perusal, she moved the ice cream to block his view and took another bite to cool down.
He smirked at her move. “As I said, it’s time for your private lessons. I thought you’d be more comfortable here than at my castle.”
She stilled at his comment. “You live in a castle?”

What a beautiful second chance romance, a story with mixed emotions of memories, loss, and new beginnings.  It is a story of dreams, healing, and renewed sweet romance.  The story is a sweet, clean, heartfelt romance with a great cast of characters and interaction.  It is the first of several in this new series, The Healing Heart Ranch.  “One day at a time.”

Raine Willows was raised by her grandfather, Jack, from the time she was ten after her parents are killed in an accident.  She moved to his farm, learned the love of horses and nature. She met the boy next door, Luke Daniels, who became her friend and eventually her boyfriend.  But life has a way of changing things, Luke’s mother dies, his father drinks, Raine is heading to college, and he enlists in the military. They will each go their separate ways.  But now Raine is returning to the bury her beloved grandfather and will learn several things that have been kept from her—messages left to her in a letter.

What a shock to learn the farm wasn’t sold, as she believed, and that Luke has been living there for nearly two years.  All part of her grandfather’s plan, but his love for her didn’t want her to feel obligated to give up her medical dream to take care of him.  It will bring several heart-to-heart conversations with Luke, and also with dear friends, Tom and Ellen.

“You can’t help but live in the moment when you’re out here.  What about you, Raine? Do you need me?  I don’t really want to make you uncomfortable.  I apologize for my emotional outburst this afternoon.  The trail ride brought back a lot of memories.  Memories I can’t seem to forget or want to.”

“I remember the first time you kissed me.  My heart whispered, “He’s the one.”

“One of Jack’s sayings hit him.  “Live a little—“ he began.  “Love a lot,” Raine finished if for him.”

Will conversation help Raine want to make the farm into a place of healing? With the help of friends and investors, can the Willow farm become more?  Is her dream something that even her Grandfather would have wanted too?

“She’s a strong-willed woman with a magnificent mind of her own.  Her decisions must be her own.  Let her decide what she wants, and if it matches what I know, she needs, then shares the plans with her.”

“Jack continues to amaze us.  This is so exciting.  Your ideas—his ideas.  I think it was meant to be.  Sometimes a choice made for love can make everything else fall into place. He touched many lives in his lifetime.  Strenght in love.”

“You are making a difference, Raine.  This ranch will make a difference in many lives—one hoof at a time.”

Is Summer Time Bummer Time? Feel Better with a Few Hot Romances from Suz deMello (@suzdemello #romance #KU #free #hotsummerlovin)

Some people love summer. Others hate the heat, the humidity, the long, hot days.

I have mixed feelings. This is my first summer spent in my new home--Mazatlan, Mexico.  I'm excited about living in a new (to me) fascinating country, but not so excited about the heat, which I don't care for.

I've again embraced the lifestyle I created living in Thailand in 2006-07: out and about in the morning, and after a nice lunch an even nicer siesta. Then I get up and do chores.

Later, I'll visit my mother, who lives nearby and is the reason for the move. She's 89 and has Alzheimer's. She isn't likely to be around forever, so I try to spend some  time with her every day. After I chill with Mom, beach walk--we live a few minutes from an incredible beach. I'll return home, feed my dog and might go out for dinner, might stay in. Whatever.

I stay chill and happy with this schedule. The siesta lifestyle suits me just fine.

Sunset on Playa Cerritos

But I'm sure that many find summer time to be bummer time. If you're a harried single mom, wrestling a couple out-of-school kids along with chores and a job is probably a mega-drag.

So I've placed several ebooks in KU just for your summertime reading pleasure.

A rogue wave, faltering navigational instruments and a trio of sharks continue to challenge Sherry and her new lover, the yacht's Captain Freeman. But Free and Sherry aren't fazed until a passenger turns up dead in her locked cabin. The vicious murder throws the ship, its crew and passengers into panic. Who could the killer be? Suspects and motives abound.
