A new phone by Jennifer Kacey

So I had to get a new phone. *shudders*
Lots of people love getting a new phone. *shudders*
I am not one of those people. Anything else I'm fine with. Vehicle purchase, real estate, cake walk.
New phone? *shudders*
I'll pass.

But my old phone was literally two messages away from shitting the bed completely and being without a phone is the only thing worse than having to change phones.

So i sucked it up and went last night and got a new one. I'm a droid girl so I got the latest and greatest since I'll be keeping my phone until it turns to dust.

Every time I think I have it all set up I remember four more things I forgot. And that's AFTER I made my gigantic app list from my old phone so I didn't forget anything. Meh!!!

So I raise a glass to everyone whose had to change their phone in the last...two years. I feel your pain.

May I suggest a delicious bite out of the Members Only series to get over the phone changeover trauma........ :P

New phones, new computers, new websites...I'd rather have my fingernails pulled out. I don't want to learn anything new or transfer infinite amounts of data - I don't have the time - I just want to press a button and have everything fall into place.

I feel your pain.

I think we should start some kind of support group. Seriously it's the most awfulest of horrible. I think I've gotten past the trauma and am finding new stuff I like. *shudders*

This phone needs to last FOREVER!! (please insert scary music here)

Funny post, but not really. I'm hanging onto a antique cell phone because I can't bear to switch.. And when I consider switching e-mail services...ugh. May everything last forever.

Email service switching. Ugh.

I still don't have a smart-phone. I have a flip-phone. Husband says to baby it, because once it goes, we won't be able to get one like this anymore. 2 of our kids have smart-phones, the other 2 have Trac-phones.

I like not having to recharge my phone multiple times a day. I only do it once every 3 or 4 days. But I never go on-line with it. I just get a make calls, and send and get texts. Period. I work multiple jobs and can't answer, or even have my phone out of my pocket at either of them. So I'm happy with our cheap cell-phone bill and my old flip-phone.
