I'm excited. This Friday I will be speaking with my newly assigned Harlequin editor. She's in New York too! I'll be getting edits by the end of the week for a book Harlequin Digital contracted with an expected June 2014 release date. It's hot, erotic romance menage called She Wants It.

The cover artists will be working on the cover, which I can not wait to see!

So, I'm excited about this and that fact that February is half over. I for one am ready to see signs of spring. It's been a long, hard winter for so many.

What are you anticipating, looking forward to?  Me...the snow melt, sunny warm days, book release, some travel plans.

Here's a rough snippet from She Wants It...just to whet your appetite :)

Even when he wasn’t touching her she was acutely aware of him. Faye almost felt his touch, the heat of his gaze, the swipe of his tongue and the smarting tingle when—no, she shouldn’t think of spanking right now. She was distracted enough and craved his touch. A day didn’t go by when he didn’t take her at the very least, once.

Faye shivered and glanced out the food truck window. Closing her eyes, she inhaled the tangy sea breeze that blew in. How she’d grown to love the being by the ocean. Even though it was cloyingly hot, the air swept a cool hand over her steamy skin, already heated up with thoughts of her sexy chef.

There were no hungry food seekers waiting in line anymore. She sighed, relieved the rush was over for the time being, but knew it wouldn’t give them time for a quickie. All it did was allow a few minutes to feast her hungry gaze on him. The Chef. Her new lover.

She watched him work, imagining his strong hands on her body, in her most secret places, making her scream with pleasure. Yes, scream. No over-exaggeration there. He had a way with her. She was obsessed with him, not in a stalker way but in a I-can’t-get-enough-of-you way.

Bracing herself against the steel counter she took a few deep breaths, both loving and hating the desire that ran unbridled through her. Faye glanced at him from underneath her lashes and bit her lip, otherwise the moan she’d been fighting back would escape.

She could watch him all day. He was pure beauty. Tall, tanned, muscular, with sun-streaked hair and turquoise eyes that matched the Gulf waters not a stone’s throw from the food truck. He had the perfect goatee. Normally she’d didn’t like them, but on him? Perfection.

Now for a bit of sun to warm your winter bones.

So nice to read about a hero who isn't a kabillionaire! What a refreshing change. Good luck with the new book.

Thanks everyone! I love this hero.

I should be getting edits by the end of this week for She Wants It. My brand spanking new editor at Harlequin emailed me to say that she was 15 pages in to the story and my "writing is on fire" LOL

Well, the book does start off with a "bang" :D

I'll give more details when I'm able.
