Presents I gave myself this Christmas

Yes it's true I totally gave myself presents this year. I got some amazing presents from my family and friends but there was a few things I couldn't help but put under the tree with my name on the package.
Super beyond cute little short boots I'm thinking of wearing to Romanticon in 2014.
A noise machine because I totally killed the last two I had, and this one's battery operated. Just writing that made me giggle.
A friend of mine told me I needed to expand my reading to books outside the romance genre...there are books that aren't romance?? Who knew!!
A NYC photo book with lots of pics of our trip last year.
And I had to include a pic of the back of the book because seriously, my life is awesome!!

I'll be giving away a swag pack to one lucky commenter!! Tell me the best present you've ever bought yourself...

Skye has spent her life being the perfect daughter for her prominent, wealthy parents. She says all the right things, wears all the right clothes…and lies through her teeth about the kind of sex she needs. The bland “gentlemen” she dates don’t know a thing about what gets her going—and when they find out, they run screaming. In her deepest, naughtiest dreams, she finds a man…or two…who knows just how to tie her up and tease her until she’s begging for more. But those guys don’t really exist, do they?
Jackson wants one thing for Christmas, and her name is Skye. He’s watched her from afar for ages, biding his time, waiting for his chance to give her the kind of pleasure she craves. And this Christmas he’s going to get his way. He’s enlisted his buddy Nick and the two of them are going to give Skye a holiday treat she’ll never forget.
Inside Scoop: This holiday threesome features bondage and spanking benches…and creates whole new uses for Christmas lights and candy canes.
A Romantica® BDSM erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

The boots are SO cute and fit just perfectly! I'm going to the Wild Wicked Weekend in San Antonio next month and they're having a cowboy dress up night too. I'm totally going to wear them there too!

Well, I said it was for the family but you know a puppy is always for mom.

Those are some awesome presents, Jennifer! And I do frequently get myself presents but not always at Christmas :D I confess that I don't always love shopping, but I DO love shopping Brenda Novak's annual auction... Some of the best presents have been books signed by the authors--I have a few by Sylvia Day from years ago (before the Crossfire craze hit), some of Shelly Laurenston's, Kate Douglas's Wolf Tales, and others. It's definitely my annual indulgence :D

Thanks, Fedora!!
Those are the kind of gifts that keep on giving!!
I've heard a lot about her auction. I need to check it out this year! You'll have to remind me!!

Great boots!

I always make sure there's a book I want under the tree. :)

Love the book idea! I think I may have done that before...you know...before I started writing and had no free time at all for extra curricular writing. :)
