New Releases! PIRATES return and HEART OF STONE

Heart of Stone has just been re-released, today in fact, and this will be the third time this book has been added to my catalogue. I’m hoping this is the final home for it, too. New Dawning Book Fair has been a very good publisher for me, and when I terminated contracts back in January for four of my titles, I was wondering if that would mean these stories would never be seen again.

Randall Stone is the hero of this one, a man who served his country, and disobeyed an order that would have left a member of his team to die. He went back, and was dishonourably discharged for the offense of disobeying a direct order. However, you don’t train a soldier only to dismiss him, so he’s become a covert operations specialist, and a mercenary who often works for the government who dismissed him publicly.

I’ve had quite a few reviews of this book, and all but one have been good. I tell people they have to be prepared for an off-camera rape scene, but apart from that, it’s pretty straightforward action/adventure romance. I’m glad to have it back, and with another of Kayden McLeod’s stunning covers.

So, have a look, and the other book that’s been re-edited for new release is Pirates, and I am having a super contest to celebrate that one, all the details are here: http://fantasy-pages.blogspot.com/2013/10/pirates-denysebridger-giveaway.html

HEART OF STONE
Randall Stone is the stuff of heroes, a mercenary given a dishonorable discharge from the army he has served with his life. Refusal to obey orders in favor of saving a team member’s life put a premature end to Stone’s illustrious career. But, the government is still interested in using the skills they've taught Major Rand Stone, and he continues to work as a freelance trouble shooter with his hand-picked team.
A playboy who enjoys women and his freedom, Stone shocks everyone when he falls in love with an unlikely woman. When an old enemy surfaces from Stone’s past, taking the one thing Randall will not lose, a deadly hunt begins. Robin Bourne is declared dead, killed in a car crash while Stone was on a mission – but in his soul, he knows she’s alive, and the mission ahead of him now is intensely personal. Backed with his team, Stone relentlessly pursues the old friend who’s dared to go after him by taking the woman he loves.

Thank you, Tina - my God you were fast on that one! Kayden does incredible work - and I think these two titles are finally with the right publishing house. I'm going to add a link back to an excerpt shortly, too.

Hugs,
Denyse
