Guilty Pleasures

When I’m not working—I’m working. Forty hours at the day job, followed by a few more hours before, during or after work devoted to my writing. When I’m not at work or writing I’m toiling around the house; cooking, cleaning, or doing laundry. Don’t even get me started on yard work. Seriously, I haven’t started it and probably won’t.

I’m always fascinated by what people do away from work for fun; their passion, hobby or guilty pleasure. That one thing they do in the privacy and solitude of their home. Naked yoga. Taxidermy. Online role playing games. Whatever floats someone’s boat.
Me, I write. That’s no secret. The guilty pleasure part is what I write. Spicy. Naughty. Erotic. A few close friends know about my secret life. Fewer know my pen name. Living a secret life is a true guilty pleasure. I feel equal parts guilt and pleasure.

My next book release will be August 23rd. Fun with Rick and Jade

Blurb: Jade Li only wants what’s coming to her from her high-profile baby daddy—some child support and she’ll stay out of his life and off his radar. Committed to being a good mother, she’s left her high-priced-call-girl lifestyle behind and wants a fresh start. But because of her sordid past, she’s terrified of losing custody. What she needs, according to her attorney, is a husband.

Enter Rick Jette, younger brother to Jade’s attorney. Rick could use a wife and child for a business deal his future hinges on. Plus, he owes his brother a huge favor that not even marrying a sexy ex-call girl could repay. Marriage is not what he’d expected. At. All. The good, as they play house, was better than he’d ever dreamed. The bad—having feelings for his instant family—turns out to be worse than he ever could have imagined.

What’s your passion, hobby or—if you dare—your guilty pleasure?

Thank you, Jean. I do like bad girls and the guys who love 'em.

One of my greatest pleasures in life is writing. I can revise a paragraph for hours without noticing. To me, it's not work. It's exhilarating.

I'm always busy, but only liking it when I'm writing. :)

When I'm not working, I'm "working" on my author life, either writing, revising, or blogging and interacting on-line, hoping to have my name be seen for the 7th time by some reader who might give me a chance to entertain her for a while.

Or my family insists I get up from my desk and do something with one or more of them. Which usually turns out to be fun and good for my morale. Or I try to force myself to exercise...if I'm in the right mood, I bake something. I don't usually each much more than a taste, but my family is so grateful that it's worth heating up the kitchen!

Guilty pleasure? I love reading paranormal erotic romance!
