The Fast Driving Fantasy by Adele Dubois

--CONTEST ALERT!-- Giveaway!

The characters in my books drive fast motorcycles and hot cars. In real life, I’m scared of motorcycles, though they fascinate me. I compensate for my fear in fiction, where I can ride on the seat of a bike whenever I want. My REV ME UP and REV ME TWICE military heroes and INTIMATE ART story hero personify the hunk on a Harley ideal. Readers tell me they love these characters and I love them too.

My heroines tend to drive convertibles, like I do in real life. For me, there’s nothing more exhilarating than driving fast with the ragtop down. My DESERT FEVER and DESERT WILD heroines share my love of the open road. Though my car is a Sebring and they drive a Retro Thunderbird, we savor the feel of the wind in our hair, the sun shining on our faces and the thrilling sensation of speed. As long as there’s a stretch of open road, my characters and I will continue to fly.

Do you enjoy the fast driving fantasy? Do you like hot cars or cool motorcycles? Tell us about your ultimate fantasy experience and be automatically entered to win a fun REV ME UP motorcycle key ring, compliments of Adele Dubois. Item mailed USPS inside the continental USA. Winner will not be added to a mailing list and there is no obligation.

Humm, well, motorcycles scare me and convertibles really mess up my hair. So, my ultimate fantasy would be on a Roman chariot drawn by beautiful Arabs and Gannicus. That would do it for me.
Love the post and the covers. Very hot

OMG, AWESOME covers!
My Mother & I are split on your question. My Mom is a "Motorcycle Mama" with a restored 55K Harley IN her art studio, Me? gotta be a ragtop convertable, automatic transmission, RED! with silver? interior, please. Maybe a Dodge Dart 318 (My second car - I LOVED that bad boy!)

Mindy :)

Julia--If you keep the side windows up on the convertible your hair won't get messed up (too much). I use a little hairspray on the top and I'm good to go. Love your chariot idea!

Thanks for visiting and playing. Glad to know you love my covers.

Mindy--Your mom's art studio sounds amazing!

I'm a convertible gal--champagne gold ragtop with light brown interior. When this car is ready for retirement, I'm buying another. When I'm an old lady, I'll still drive a convertible and pretend I'm 35.

Glad you think my covers are awesome! Thanks for stopping by.

I would love to ride on the back of a motorcyle with a very hot and handsome man. I have never been on a motorcycle. I would love to be driving really fast with my hair blowing in the wind. Please enter me in contest. I would love to read these awesome books. Tore923@aol.com

I have never read one of your books yet..I stress the word yet. They are on my list of to get soon though. I myself own a Mustang convertible so I agree with you about driving with the top down. There is nothing like it. I love riding on a bike too. I have only been a passenger and haven't been on one in a very long time, but I used to love the feeling and I am dying to go for another ride. A friend of mine just bought a bike and I am trying to talk her into taking me for a spin but she has never had a passenger before. It's gonna take a little bit of weedling. :) I'm up to the challenge though. Thanks for the great post and the chance to win.

An old boyfriend of mine while I was in college had a Harley. I still have the scar from burning my calf on part of it when I was getting off of it. I loved to ride on it with him until he explained that he had to comb all of the bugs and dirt out of his beard when he stopped. EW! He didn't believe in wearing a helmet.

After I broke up with him I thought about buying my brother's bike, which was not a Harley, but it was a 650 and when I pulled up to a stop triumphantly to tell him I loved it, I forgot to pop in the clutch and it stalled and fell over onto my leg! A bit too much weight for me to lift up myself, and I figured I was better off letting him sell it to someone stronger than me!

Husband says we'll get a matching pair when we retire and move to a cabin somewhere up north. I hope so!

Fiona-Bugs in the beard and burns are definitely not the sexy outcome we're looking for, are we? LOL. That's why I drive a convertible around town. Motorcycles are best left to fiction, though they sure look sexy.

Thanks for leaving a comment.

Renee--Your friendly posts always make me smile. I wish I had a million more readers like you. Thank you for your support and enthusiasm.

Hubby and I have been to the Indy 500, which was fun and exciting. (Though also loud, hot, dusty and crowded as heck.) It's something racing fan should do at least once.

Thanks for stopping by to play!
