Priceless Family Moments

With summer approaching my thoughts have turned to my family. They visit each year and we play tourist around the city. We take in the sites. With them it is fun seeing things that I see often in a new light. I love when my family comes visiting. We tend to laugh, talk and just have fun. There are some moments in each visit I know I will always remember.

The laughter when I got my brother-in-law with a whopper of a zinger. He has a sharp wit and is great with zingers. My sister, nephew and I dancing around the living room while watching So You Think You Can Dance. We dance grooving to the tune and dances. Laughing as we chatted about other moments we had in the pass. Like when my brother-in-law screamed on the roller coaster and the picture of that scream. My cousin who loves to argue good naturedly with me.

There are so many times I spend with my family. I appreciate all of them. All these moments were priceless family moments. With summer coming I plan to make some more.

A very nice blog, Taige. It's funny the things we remember and the things we don't. We don't always seem to have power over the recorder in our minds or the camera of our memory. I can remember some of the silliest things but there is so much that is forgotten. I write in a journal to keep the memory alive. More often, I draw a picture of some event in my journal. I savor those pictures and words later.
Did you know that people with loving, supportive families are more likely to recover from serious illnesses than those that don't?
What a sexy cover for Power of Instinct. I wish you great success, Taige.

Taige--I enjoyed your post. My hubby and I are hosting a big family barbeque Memorial Day and I'm excited to get together with everyone.

We'll also be sure to hang our American flag and remember our fallen heroes. Most of the men in my family are veterans, so we keep members of the armed forces in our hearts all year long.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Best--Adele

I wish everyone realized how important it is to make family memories. A lot of times it's the simple things kids remember that make their childhood special. The little picnics, trips to the zoo or the park, even playing cards together on a rainy day. Thanks for your reminder:)

We are very amused that our 4 kids, who used to complain about being dragged to monthly family parties with my husband's big family, are now complaining that we don't "get together like we used to!" Probably because they are all young adults now, and maybe they are beginning to "get it" about why we wanted them to know what a loving family they have surrounding them.
Great post, and most timely!
And very hot cover! I had to head over to check out the blurb. Very intriguing. Good luck with sales.

Thanks everyone. Exactly. I've learned to not take any family time for granted. Life is a precious thing and we need to live it with those we love. I'm eager to see what new memories I will get this year.
